Guard Dogs

11 Feb

Hi guys! Today I’m going to write about guard dogs. Now, what is a Guard Dog? The definition of a Guard Dog is:

The Guard Dog, the Attack Dog, or the Watch Dog is used to guard against, and watch for uninvited animals, or people (and alarm πŸ™‚ ). For the record, they do not attack, or bark on familiar creatures πŸ˜› .

The Guard dogs most prized treasure is… barking! πŸ™‚ But really, I’m not joking! There’s even a competition over who can bark the most loudly, to alert owners, and drive away “predators”. The competitions results:

1. Georgian Shepherd Dog

2. Caucasian Shepherd Dog

3. Miniature Schnauzer

Well, that’s it for barking, let’s move on with the list of most common Guard Dogs:

Well, there is the typical Hungarian Puli:

There’s the again Hungarian dog, the Boxer:

And so much more, I can’t even count… πŸ™‚ So, we all learned enough of the breed it self, so let’s talk about there attitude:

They react to every noise, even to the crack of a leaf. Sometimes they are too ‘open-eyed’, that means, they feel that your in trouble. But don’t be scared, they usually are just false alarms. πŸ™‚ Other then that, they love to be in families, they have to be loved, not treated harshly. They know there “jobs”, so you don’t have to train him (just a little πŸ™‚ ) They LOVE children, and care for ‘there’ family. There very sweet and cute.

When it comes to a long coated dog (and this applies to every kind, not just the Guard Dogs) then you must not cut down the fur in front of the eye, or he will be blind (in about a couple days πŸ™‚ )

Well, good luck raising your Guard Dog πŸ™‚ if you want to know more, write on Facebook:Β
